HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR CLOTHES

It is very important to take care of your clothes to make them last over time. Maintenance represents more than half of the environmental impact of a garment. Here are some tips on how to care for your clothes.

By reducing the number of washes, you will save water and detergent and your clothes will last longer. Put your jacket on a hanger in the open air to get rid of bad odors (outside for 2 to 3 hours or inside in a well-ventilated room for a day).

JACKETS
Washing at 30°C is more than enough to get your clothes clean. If you want to improve your environmental impact, use a soft detergent, preferably organic. The same goes for fabric softeners.
Wash your clothes on the reverse side at 30°C with a low speed program (drum 400 to 600) and delicate cycle for a better maintenance. In addition, washing at 30°C uses half the energy of washing at 60°C. Beyond these savings, heat shortens the life of your clothes and can deteriorate the fibers.

ACCESSORIES / SCRUNCHIES
Wash them by hand to avoid damaging them. They are so precious.

The dryer is convenient but consumes a lot of energy. But that's not all! The scarves sewn on the back of IVY jackets are made of silk. They should not be put in the dryer to avoid damaging them. Dry them in the open air, or indoors in a well-ventilated area.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR CLOTHES, THEY DESERVE IT.
